PLAYING WITH FIRE by TESS GERRITSEN

BOOK REVIEW:-  PLAYING WITH FIRE by TESS GERRITSEN   I devoured this book like a delicious cake. It was that good. Although it starts with a normal scene where a violinist buys a book in Rome, the moment when the three-year-old Lily enters the story, things get insane. I don't want to spoil the book for you, so I won't reveal any further details. The ending is unexpected as in most thrillers. The story is a mix of thriller and historical fiction. The story is narrated from the perspective of Julia and Lorenzo, the two main characters. Both these characters are musicians of their time. The transition between the past and present timelines is smooth and finally converges at the end of the book. I did not know about the basic terminology of music like the waltz, rhythm, and other things, but I enjoyed the way the author described the music and its impact on the characters. I will read more books from this author. My rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars.
