Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future by Ashlee Vance.

BOOK REVIEW: 5 stars out of 5.

Ironman's Tony Stark is based on Elon Musk. After listening to this book, I now realize how lucky we are to have him among us. His grand vision of taking humans to Mars and his obsession with space exploration is much needed for the survival of humans. While some may dismiss Musk as fantasizing too much, they should remember that today's fantasy is tomorrow's reality. Who would have thought that a private company like Space X would revolutionize the commercial space launch business often dominated by countries? He competed against not just companies like Lockheed Martin and Bieing but against powerful countries like China and USA. All the big players wanted to see him fail but he won. He is truly a great asset to the USA and saved NASA from spending billions of dollars in the space business. He also revolutionized the electric car concept. Before him, everyone thought electric cars looked good only on paper. But he changed the way we see electric cars today. His intelligence, imagination, and unflinching willpower would change the world in the future. He is the real-life Tony Stark we need to save the human race from extinction. But most people keep wondering if it is really safe for the CEO of a company to be as reckless as him. Luckily, things have turned out to be in his favor which made him a wealthy entrepreneur, but what if things had gone wrong. His erratic decisions could have ended up in the demise of all his companies.  Well, Musk doesn't care for money. He just wants to do things on a grand scale that can impact humanity. This grandeur of making fantastic things is his motivation, not making big bucks. But, in a world run by money, one needs money to make grand things. Musk knows this. The major reason why he does not fear losing money or his company is because he is so confident that he can create wealth on his own even if he fails miserably in his efforts to make grand things.

I appreciate the writer Ashlee Vance for giving us a deep glance into the life of Elon Musk. Musk has rejected many journalists before when they offered to write his biography, but Ashley Vance's continuous resolve even after many rejections has impressed Elon Musk to the extent that he made Ashlee Vance, the writer of his biography. I listened to this book on Audible. Fred Sanders's voice was easy to listen to and simple to understand. I recommend this book to everyone as Elon Musk's life serves as an excellent example of motivation, hard work, and willpower.
