BOOK REVIEW: 4.5 stars out of five. Everyone should read this book especially twenty-something folks. Author Meg Jay talks about the current misinformation and media culture that trivializes the twenties which are actually the defining years of your life. Whatever you do in your twenties, whether it is your job or love life, it will have a tremendous effect on the rest of your life. The author discusses how the popular notion- the thirties are the new twenties is misleading and confusing to the twenty-year-old population. Human life is short. It means we should have a proper sense of time which would lead us to allocate our energy and skills to something that would be an asset in the future. Exploring and enjoying life is alright but people should not lose focus. The author mentions a new concept called identity capital which is our collection of personal assets.
